MiSH MaSH is now OPEN

Freshly opened on Smith street, right smack between N Pauahi and N Beretania, is the MiSH MaSH Shop.

jewelry, Clothing from the 40s-80s, Bags, and so much more.

I was fortunate enough to meet owner Nicole Franco at her shop soon after opening. Browsing the shop is like taking a stroll through time. Just the clothing rack alone provides such a variety of styles through the ages. But there is so much more. One of the things that first caught my eye, was a tray of old buttons and pins. Such a collection. I grabbed a couple for myself before moving on.

There were also a bunch of old vinyl records, radios, and a selection of old handbags and purses. All at fantastic prices.

Everything in this store is great, and if you’re a fan of vintage I’m sure you will agree. However, there was one thing in particular that brought me, and will keep this store on my shopping list. Vintage cameras. There was a nice selection of old vintage cameras in the showcase. Both broken ones for display, and ones that still work. I wish I could have taken them all home. Even the ones that take 16mm and 120. Alas, I didn’t have the means to carry them all home. Maybe I should have picked up one of those vintage bags to carry them.

I did make off with one though…

Meet my Vintage FirstFlex Model I. This isn’t the usual Model I, but a short production, early version of the Model I. Quite a find to add to my collection. And couldn’t have done it without Nicole and her shop.

Visit her at the shop on 1164 Smith St Honolulu, HI 96817
